The teaser trailer for ParaNorman, the movie I have been working on with LAIKA for the past year is finally here! You can also see the poster for the film above. And now for the trailer:

Here is the official synopsis of the film from laika.com:

A misunderstood boy who can speak with the dead takes on ghosts, zombies and, worst of all, grown-ups, in order to save his town from a centuries-old curse.

Norman Babcock is an outcast in his small New England town. When a horde of zombies is unleashed on the populace, Norman learns he must use his paranormal powers to make things right again. That’s not an easy task when you’re only eleven. And you’ve just been grounded.

The voice cast includes Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Road), Oscar® nominee Casey Affleck (Gone Baby Gone, Ocean’s Eleven), Oscar® nominee Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air, Twilight), Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner John Goodman (Monsters, Inc., The Big Lebowski), Leslie Mann (Knocked Up), Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Toy Story 3), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad, How to Train Your Dragon), Tony® and Emmy® Award winning performer Elaine Strich (30 Rock), Tempestt Bledsoe (The Cosby Show), Bernard Hill (Titanic) and Alex Borstein (Family Guy).

The Portland Mercury’s Food & Drink Guide will be available as a special insert in the October 14th edition of the paper. I provided the illustrations for the cover and interior spots. Pick one up starting October 14th – they’re free if you’re in the Portland area! You only have one week to grab it, so get one while you can. Sorry for such a short notice, but I have a piece of artwork on eBay, donated to raise money for the Even Chance pitbull rescue in San Diego, Cailfornia, and it’s only got about 2 hours until the end!!! Unfortunately, I was away on vacation when the auction went up and did not have a chance to put a post in a timely manner.
