Love this, even more than Batman Vs. Shark!

It’s so surreally pop-culture, and surreal in the classic, absurdist sense. Is the figure-on-centaur a reference to another image that I’m not aware of? It looks like it could have been a 70s-80s fantasy/sci-fi book cover.

(…and I love the idea of postcards and/or posters, btw.)

Thanks so much, b00jUm! I’m glad you enjoy the image. The centaur idea isn’t a direct reference to any one work. The criteria of the piece set from the beginning was that it had to be of Betty White holding a Flaming Chainsaw riding John Ritter. The centaur idea was how I chose to interpret that.

    Thanks for your comment!

The print idea is great. i would need this hanging in a gold leaf wooden frame about the fire place for sure. it reminds me of a painting i had back in St. Olaf
